L'Aquila "Scientists" Trial Starts October 1, 2011 Could Advance EQ Prediction!!!!!

Hello,
There may now be an issue with this upcoming major earthquake that is headed for the Northern California Triple Plate Junction. Many of you might have heard that seven very bad scientists have now been charged with Manslaughter in Italy for their inaction in the Earthquake Prediction of Giampaolo Giuliani in L'Aquila Italy in 2009. They told the Mayor of that city not to do anything and that it would be much better for them to all just sit back and "Drink Expensive Wine" basically translated from Italian. Upwards of 300 people were killed in the Major Earthquake that struck that city 6 days later and the public outcry that followed resulted in those serious charges now coming to trial on October 1, 2011.
I dare say there are these days A LOT of you reading this who are by now VERY FAMILIAR with my earthquake writings and probably very familiar with the fact that I have written many a good valid and accurate prediction fairly close to the accuracy of Mr. Giuliani and my alerts go out to a few "Scientists" in various such positions as well. Today I just want to add that we presently have one such Major Earthquake heading directly for Eureka, California at 7.6 Richters Magnitude and I have submitted this to both the California and National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Councils who have received my Official Predictions in the past and are guilty of more or less the same inaction as the seven really bad scientists in the L'Aquila Italy matter. These councils are today probably guilty of ignoring one or two Great Official Predictions as well as inactions that have led to thousands of deaths around the world on a few others such as the days before the now great Japan Earthquake of 2011 in which we plainly knew the Indian Ocean Tectonic Plate was really going to be busting a move!!!
So, anywayz I am writing today to ask that we have some sort of a plan as to how we are going to eventually bring the general public up-to-date on EQ Alerts and Official Predictions, and allow them to prepare? It is my opinion that bringing charges against them and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law should get them moving. If this is the route that the renaissance of earthquake prediction is going to take. . . then it is the route that we all need to be prepared to travel. Perhaps my next move, will be to seek that sort of legal remedy here in the United States for some of our own "Bad Scientists"? Maybe Italy is correct after all and that is what it will take to get the message out to the people when there is a Major Earthquake heading for them?

May 21, 2011 = NOT End of World!!! No Earthquake Today, Sorry!!!
Hello, I'm posting this here on EQ Blog-2 because it is kind of dumb thinking May 21 could actually be the end of the world per se. I had been asked a few times over the last couple weeks and didn't know what all those guys were talking about till tonight when I seen the story about all the billboards, and further the dude I think specifically mentioned a major earthquake as supposedly being the cause of the end. (?????) So I am writing tonight to give just a quick update on all potential earthquake energy that is currently out there and with the hopes of letting my readers know that there WILL NOT be a life-as-we-know-it ending earthquake today or anytime soon!!! Yes, there is a small amount of earthquake energy that may still be unaccounted for, but NOT enough to fulfill this prophecy. Finally, yesterdays Turkey Earthquake struck on the second day after the Full Moon and just about basically concludes the sum total of all the earthquake energy that I had even been watching/waiting for and now aside from one tornado that stuck near Philadelphia that I have not yet gotten a report on, that seems to be it for now! OLD STORY FROM: Monday September 3, 1923, JAPAN DELUGED WITH DISASTER: TYPHOON, EARTHQUAKE, LANDSLIDE, FIRE!!!
Estimate Dead At 100,000 or More In Coast Cities!!!
The eyes of the world were taken from any smaller thing like the Greek and Italian War Sunday by the appalling disaster in Japan. The estimate of 100,000 lives lost in Yokohama and Tokio was only an estimate. Just the moment wireless communications was opened between Shanghai and Japanese points, the news came to the Gazette Sunday and the bulletin was posted. Hundreds of people in the evening saw this bulletin. Only a little was added by the morning papers. In Japan it is Tuesday, the calendar being one day ahead of us here. No water, no food, a great city still burning is the news of the day. Each story only adds to the horror of the disaster. People fled in panic to the mountains near-by. Yokohama was destroyed and the capital of Japan, 17 miles away, was wrecked. A typhoon blew down hundreds of buildings Saturday. When it subsided earthquake shocks followed one after another. Buildings were piled in heaps and fire broke out. It was a scene of horror and death. For a hundred miles along the shore, towns were piled in heaps. Nagoya, a city of 350,000 people was destroyed and other smaller towns are no more. Tidal waves and landslides wrecked other cities and sea coast villages and buried them forever. Hundreds of Americans are somewhere in the city of Yokohama, and Tokio houses several thousands of Americans resident there. It will be days in the confusion and terror before reports of the whereabouts of all Americans can be learned. Only the most meagre news is yet available owing to the conditions of wire and wireless service.
SUMMARY OF DISASTER
The situation in Japan resulting from one of the greatest disasters in history as disclosed by advices up to this morning is as follows:
Estimated that at least 100,000 persons dead. One report even gave this number for the number of Tokio’s dead.
Shocks, believed to be “Settling Shocks” of the original temblor, were recorded on American seismographs.
Great tidal waves followed the first shock.
Communications with Japan continued virtually paralyzed. Some matter coming out by cable from Southern Japanese seaports, but most of information emanating from Iwaki radio station, 155 miles north of Tokio.
Disastrous fires following earthquake believed under control.
Numerous structures of scenic or historic interest destroyed.
Fears are entertained for numerous Americans in Japan or on ships either in Yokohama harbor or near it, for nothing has been heard from any of these ships, though several were large passenger liners equipped with wireless.
British and American navel vessels have been ordered to Japan to give relief. Relief ships have been started from other Japanese ports to Yokohama. All Japanese vessels ordered to take up relief work.
Osaka and Kobe voted 300,000 Yen for relief work.
Martial law declared in Tokio and Yokohama, and no one allowed to enter the former unless he carries his own food.
Numerous volcanoes are reported in eruption.
Tokio: Eight wards of the cities fifteen virtually wiped out, including business and financial districts; much damage elsewhere, water supply failed, fire caused explosion in Governors arsenal, killed several thousand. Food and water lacking for thousands of refuges.
Yokohama: Foreign and business sections wiped out largely by fire; tens of thousands of guests, including many foreigners at resorts in mountains near by. Estimated 1,400 houses burned.
Yokosuka: Tidal wave wrecked many government vessels, much damage done in town which is of 70,000 population, fire reported broken out, naval station engulfed by tidal wave and buildings and ships destroyed.
Nagoyia: Population 620,000 reported practically destroyed.
Sasako: Six hundred reported perished in collapsed railway tunnel.
Osaka: Railroads for hundred miles north torn up, many trains wrecked with heavy casualties.
Ito: More than 500 houses washed away by tidal wave.
Kakone: At this famous mountain resort it is said to be easier to count living than dead. Foreigners frequented this district.
Karuakara: Aviator reported could not see one house upright.

Full Moon/Super Moon Alert!!!!!
Just heard at the last minute yesterday that last nights full moon was actually a Super Moon!!! Now I have to add today that the alert for earthquake energy from the full moon continues for a few days yet, and I notice Christchurch, New Zealand had a sizable aftershock within hours of the exact time of the full moon, and Japan seems to have had significant activity as well. Everybody should be alert and well aware that the additional potential earthquake energy from a full moon and especialy a Super Moon the added energy goes on for about three days and I prefer to watch closely at least the following two nights which include tonight and tomorrow night! Expect a major earthquake and possibly something in Japan, but really watch San Andreas/Los Angeles/San Francisco a couple days yet! And Be Prepared!!!!! My Friends in Nuke Plants, and Those Who are EQ Prediction NAY SAYERS!!!!!
They are currently getting a swarm of medium sized earthquakes at The Gulf of California. These are in the 4 and 5 Richters range but more importantly there have as of Sunday morning been so many of them that I expect major movement along the plate margin between the Pacific and North American Tectonic Plates at practically any second!!! That includes the San Andreas Fault. This seems to be a major movement, it is not everyday that there are 4 and 5 Richter earthquakes out there in the middle of that Gulf!!!!! Be Prepared and know that something is probably going to be shaking soon, maybe Central America? Next thing is that I have a lot of friends who work at those Nuclear Plants and many of them will be the guys who are now forced to work on those Nukies in Japan where everything is catawampus right now. There are not enough guys who do that type of work in the world to crew up all the jobs going over there and I doubt if they have the Japanese Maintenance Electricians to fix the now up to 8 Nuke Plants about to melt down either. My phone actually rang one day to go to one, and for whatever reason I just so happened to pass on it, while at the same time knowing it didn’t quite pay enough to make up for the risks involved and there is always enough other work. We put on these suits and each guy goes into a room and turns a wrench like one or two times and then leaves to change and shower and the next guy goes in and turns it one or two more times, etc. When the job is all through they bury all those suits and all the tools that were used!!! Don’t even ask me why I have talked about wanting to be a Secuitry Guy at a Nuclear Plant??? Used to think it would be a cool job, I suppose. Next, most of you reading this right now knew there was a huge amount of earthquake energy heading for Japan and today I want to point out to all of you who don’t like some of the stuff I say about earthquakes that you are now to blame for the problems Japan and the People of Japan are going through. Those people get my blog and they needed a lot of you not to be nay saying earthquake prediction like all of you have heard people do. Japan was in trouble and you read it here in my earthquake blog over the past several days prior to the Honshu Earthquake Friday! In the future it is my hope that my earthquake alerts will not be ignored and that people will take adequate precautions and next time Japan will Be Prepared!!! But it takes not just a few of you who are my friends and read/believe my writings. . . . . it will take all of you!!!!! Finally keep in mind that there is STILL a continued Major Alert for a Great Earthquake, possibly at our West Coast, and this could be any moment or any day now. EQ Alert Guy

Update on that EQ Alert for Kiribati, Christchurch, and Tuvalu!!!

Hello,
I want everybody to know today that my recent EQ Alert for Kiribati, Christchurch, and Tuvalu dated February 3, 2011, ended up being the now famous Christchurch, New Zealand Earthquake at 6.3 Richters Magnitude and nearing 200 deaths. Because I know from my past experiences that folks are going to ask how I guessed Christchurch exactly right, I am writing today to explain that. It is my opinion that the earthquake energy that recently struck Christchurch originated with Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi the day Yasi made landfall at Queensland, Australia with windspeeds reported at 340 Kilometers Per Hour or I think I had also heard 160 Miles Per Hour but in all events somewhere in that range of high speed intense wind power! Generally in the past I have watched for the amount of damage at such a landfall to determine the amount of earthquake energy created, but over time I have sometimes just used the windspeed especially with winds as high as Yasi.
Next, if you look at the exact point at Australia where Yasi made landfall and follow this line the opposite direction you will cross directly over the island of Kiribati and on to Baja California passing very near a couple of other places. . . . . one being New Zealand! At that point my main focus becomes the fact that Christchurch had recently had some major earthquake energy and so as a result I automatically just write down the name Christchurch due to my policy of first wishing to alert people who might be in the path of potential earthquake energy and at that point Christchurch was very near that path!!! It should be noted that the actual energy from this Severe Tropical Cyclone is still currently heading THE OTHER DIRECTION, though, and that I usually just expect that sort of tectonic plate movement to cause some such earthquake energy to strike in the WAKE of that plate movement. Probably the most major release of earthquake energy has yet to come and could be the San Andreas Fault and California. Note that I write California because this letter is primarily going to my readers on the West Coast of the United States. Other areas such as Vancouver Island, Mexico, Central America and etc. may also be affected, but please be watching around San Francisco, and Los Angeles for a major earthquake as big, but not bigger than 8 Richters. I suppose Hawaii does have a small chance of catching some of this major earthquake energy as it crosses the Pacific Tectonic Plate and since this is basically just the type of energy that pushes that tectonic plate as opposed to energy that might travel in a straight line across it, there very well could be continued plate movement affecting Hawaii and that Kilaeua Volcano, but I do not expect a repeat of Vesuvius 79 AD by any means!!! This earthquake energy should be released in the coming 10 days, on or before March 17, 2011 and this letter is mostly meant as an update/reminder that there is still currently Major Earthquake Energy out there somewhere that is as of yet unaccounted for and could strike at any moment!!! Be Prepared!!!

Sympathy to those affected by recent earthquake at Christchurch New Zealand
It was on like the second day/night after the full moon when the sky is still very bright from the light of the waning moon that the recent major shaker struck New Zealand. I’ve mentioned in the past that huge ships should be made aware that they occasionally cross over very, very shaky fault lines and that “Weight On The Tectonic Plate” is very much an issue and consideration that should at least in the future be known since the filling of reservoirs has long been the cause of major earthquakes, big ships crossing major fault lines might need to be thought of in the future. This primarily because of one report that the Cruise Ship-Queen Elizabeth was reported to have actually been passing the Queen Mary II just off like Sydney Australia on Tuesday the same exact day as the Christchurch earthquake, weather it was the exact same time as the earthquake I do not know.
I'm writing to send my Sincere Sympathy to all those affected by the recent major shaker that struck at Christchurch New Zealand yesterday. EQ Guy

One Or Two Tiny Windstorms Down-Under at Australia (and a couple inches of snow out east)
At work today it occured to me that i hadn't written in my EQ Blog much lately. I must point out that the reason, of course, and my long time friends and loyal readers already know this, the reason is because there just plain isn't much going on in the way of earthquake energy. So today I will write that there had been generous amounts of snow out east and just an inch here and an inch there in my midwest region, and about the only other thing that might affect plate tectonics would be one or two small windstorms down-under around Australia. As a result we may continue to go on seeing minor earthquakes strike around the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate and always the possibility of something small shaking our West Coast, but I have nothing else to say at this point besides just that usual tiny chance that those small windstorms could someday shake something loose and release earthquake energy that has been building up somewhere. That hasn't happened yet in the days I have been tracking earthquake energy and so I'm betting there won't be anything major until further notice, it's just that where earthquakes are concerned let's not say "All Clear." 4.2 Richters Earthquake Struck Kokomo, Indiana Today!!! MORE EARTHQUAKES COMING!!!!!
We have been watching for such foreshocks to strike as the 4.2 (adjusted to like a 3.8) that struck Kokomo, Indiana early today. Such earthquakes generally always indicate to me that there is movement of the North American Tectonic Plate. This can fairly easily be demonstrated by the fact that this earthquake was listed as having been felt in four states including Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. That sensation of feeling the earthquake, it should be noted, is also the ACTUAL ground moving in those areas and it is my opinion that movement of the ground and along with it the Tectonic Plate does result in movement at the Tectonic Plate Boundary. In this case we may be talking about the San Andreas Fault, but Haiti and the Caribean/South America is very much in that picture as well, and in just the coming hours and days, too!!!!! Might be more little shakers, yet out East. . . but I'd be watching for a Major Earthquake along our West Coast right now!!!!! 7 Richters of earthquake energy could be coming!!! Be Prepared!!!!! Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon / Winter Solstice = NIGHT OF THE TRIPLE WHAMMY!!!!!
EQ Alert Update: Night of the Triple Whammy!!!
It has come to my attention that on December 21, 2010 there will be a Lunar Eclipse on the night of that Full Moon. This day, or Tuesday of this week, will also be the date of this years Winter Solstice and I am not sure exactly how often the Winter Solstice occurs on the exact day of the Full Moon, OR how often if ever the Full Moon, Winter Solstice AND a Lunar Eclipse all occur on the same date? Finally, without having known ahead of time that all three of these major geological events were about to occur on the SAME DATE, we also presently have a major earthquake event in our wake due to severe winter conditions presently occurring all across our country.
It does seem to illustrate that the seriousness of my recent prediction should climax on or about Tuesday Night of this week give or take a couple days there. Yes, Winter Conditions ARE Getting Worse!!! Earthquake Coming!!!!!
With this next storm that now looks like it just might track across the entire Northern United States, along with lots, and lots of other snow that has fallen in just the last several hours as well as the last several days, and now deepening freeze across practically the whole country, you can count on the North American Tectonic Plate moving one way or another.
One big thing that we all need to now be watching for is the fact that if memory serves me correctly then somewhere out along our East Coast there should any moment now be a small major shaker, or perhaps medium sized earthquake is the word. About the first this happened on my watch was one very near Richmond, Virginia but others have happened and it basically just gets me wondering if this isn't the first ingrediant in the tectonic plate moving out towards the plate boundaries or the San Andreas Fault and in the case of early this year, Haiti. Is Haiti due for a major aftershock? Will the North American Tectonic Plate move in that direction? Are there any other major fault lines down in that neighborhood that are vulnerable? Where will all this new earthquake energy be released? Will our East Coast get that initial movement FIRST, and then followed by the next major earthquake that hits the world??? EQ Guy

New Alert!!! Jinchang, Hainan, Yongchang, Qirghai Lake, California, West Coast!!!
With everything else going on I happened to just notice a major Tropical Cyclone make landfall early today at Myanmar. Cyclone Giri with 135 Knot winds and 165 Knot gusts may not get much light with Typhoon Megi and Hurricane Richard also happening, but Cyclone Giri will probably do a lot of damage and cause earthquake energy when the Indio/Aust. Tectonic Plate meets that plate boundary at China. The towns along the line there are Jinchang, Hainan, Yongchang, Qirghai Lake Region, California and our West Coast. This looks like the same general area where the big Sichuan China earthquake struck a year or so ago. All be watching now for around 7 Richters and remember the OTHER present alert is for 8 Richters Lima/Sumatra and these two earthquake energies could just combine somewhere and really SHAKE!!! Small Alert Yellowstone, Idaho, Seattle/Vancouver! Also Oklahoma, Chicago, Moose Jaw! 5.8 or 5.9 Richers
Tropical Storm Hermine made landfall very late last night and I'm going to just call the spot Brownsville, Texas even though the actual landfall was probably a few miles south of Brownsville in Mexico. I recall the winds being reported at around 65 mph just prior to landfall so that will be about the windspeed we will consider this storm having been at, it also looks right now like it may still be at around 65 mph and clearly isn't over yet with tornado warnings surrounding it as Hermine continues up through Texas. A close look at the sort of NorthNorthWest direction Hermine was heading at landfall it appears this new smaller earthquake energy is heading towards Yellowstone, Idaho, and maybe Seattle/Vancouver or on to Alaska. This will be a small enough earthquake that we could stop tracking at Alaska, say 5.8 or 5.9 Richters and will probably not affect California but be aware of it, anyways. Note that it also turned and at present is still a Tropical Storm, but headed basically North! That earthquake energy could strike Oklahoma, Missouri, Memphis or Tennessee, Illinois, and maybe up around Chicago. We can stop tracking this one at Chicago unless you are like up in Moose Jaw and it really matters to you. All in all just this note for folks who enjoy knowing when every earthquake is coming and where!!! Probably not much damage and hopefully no injuries, but this will probably turn out to be a fairly accurate earthguake energy. Thank-You for reading!!! EQ Guy

The final date as stated in the body of my recent Official Prediction for the San Francisco Bay area has more or less passed. July 15 was the date used as the end date in the banner for that Official Prediction or “To Strike The Bay Area Before July 15, 2010.” I rely heavily on the actual exact date that I post on the headlines of my O.P.’s in order to accurately account for the times when I may be extremely close to the minute on the exact time and date of a major earthquake.
I have also just reviewed a recent letter that I had submitted as an update to one or two other letters and noticed that while the letter of July 8, 2010 does explain that there will be a lot of earthquake energy following Hurricane Alex, it does not give a valid window or end date to make it officially in and of itself a prediction per se.
Yesterday I was informed by my casting people in Chicago that I have been selected to work on a big scene in a new Ron Howard Movie shooting in Chicago, and as a result I will be out of town for the rest of the week and want to make the above mentioned earthquake energy into an Official Prediction somehow quickly here so that I will be free to do my acting the rest of the week in Chicago.
Finally, in the second paragraph of that letter dated July 8, 2010 it mentioned Maryland as one of the places where an earthquake might strike, but it would mostly just shake there or somewhere anyways due to the same basic principle that allowed them guys to track Hurricanes with seismographs in the early 1900’s. Maryland might have followed a storm similar to Hurricane Alex which is what that research was about, and so also now followed Alex. I was kind of right.
OFFICIAL PREDICTION FOR A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE TO STRIKE THE UNITED STATES, MEXICO, OR CENTRAL AMERICA BEFORE AUGUST 12, 2010
Hurricane Alex made landfall at Los Americanos, Mexico on June 30, 2010 with a wind speed of 110 miles per hour. The energy from Alex tracked across The Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, and the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate in early July with major earthquakes striking at all of them places delineating this plate movement. As of this writing, or the night of July 19, 2010 there have been many, many foreshocks at the Alaska Islands region in the last 48 hours with a 5.1 Richters Magnitude earthquake striking off shore of Vancouver Island earlier today. There has been a unrelated series of continuing aftershocks from the Baja California 7.2 Richters earthquake of April 4, 2010 continuing to shake Northern Mexico and Southern California with the Los Angeles times last Friday actually running a story, at least online, announcing that these aftershocks that do not stop are indicating that there is yet another major earthquake going to strike!!! This article quotes John Rundle, a physics and geology professor from UC Davis and this might be a link to it if you are reading this in 2010: http://lat.ms/a14AEF and it is my opinion that that matter alone is serious enough to warrant action on the part of the California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council and possibly National. Although this type of “Prediction” is not the kind of earthquake predicting that I do and therefore I would not be qualified to submit an actual prediction discussing those parameters. I can however say that just from reading that article it does look like a heavily populated area East of Los Angeles will almost for sure get a major earthquake, the same magnitude as April 4, 2010 or 7.2, before October 21, 2010 and that should probably be very close to Whittier, and I also predict if CEPEC fails to alert the public about this knowledge before that one happens there could be some trouble there. You guys should probably tell a knowledgeable seismology person to file one of those complete predictions containing all of that information so you can act on it.
The earthquake I am writing about today as indicated in the banner headline above, should be a 7 Magnitude earthquake that might go as high as 7.6 Richters Magnitude and for the sake of the CEPEC, and NEPEC it should be striking Seattle, Yellowstone, Oregon, California, Nevada with some of those rare faults such as New Madrid always lingering. If this earthquake energy pushes the North American Tectonic Plate into Central America it is possible that after like say July 21, Central America could receive this earthquake. Caribbean nations might also get some of this earthquake energy but that is always such a long shot that it just seems unlikely, but yes a major aftershock at Haiti may be a possibility.

I attended school in my hometown in Wisconsin, and went on to receive my General Education Diploma from Blackhawk Tech in October 1981, later attending TV Actors Studio in Chicago where I received a diploma from their Commercials One and Two course in early 1989. I was also in one or two pretty big earthquakes including the Hector Mines earthquake during my time in Southern California. In January of 2003 I moved my carpenters union card back to Milwaukee by taking and passing their Journeymans Test and thereby completing my apprenticeship, albeit without going the graduation route. Next, I began studying earthquakes by reading books from the local libraries including the Geology Library at UW-Madison. This led to me polishing my knowledge of earthquakes that began the day of the Northridge Quake when I immediately researched the things that happened in the days leading up to that huge earthquake. My studies went right into my first book originally completed around December 2003 at the time of the Paso Robles, and Bam Iran earthquakes. I updated this in early 2005 after I had a particularly good alert out prior to the Great Sumatra Earthquake of December 2004. This new version of my first book “How To Predict Earthquakes” was represented by a literary agent but did not find a publisher. Nor did a “Compact Edition” that I shopped to publishers myself through 2007. As of Spring of 2010, I have now completed my latest earthquake book “My Earthquake Memoirs” and am currently in the process of submitting queries to Literary Agents on that new project. Never married I currently reside at Moms house on Lake Koshkonong in Wisconsin where I watch Hurricanes, Typhoon, windstorms in general and earthquakes very closely on a daily basis and I write an EQ Blog that is producing my first pay-check any day now. OFFICIAL PREDICTION FOR A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE TO STRIKE
THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA BEFORE JULY 15, 2010
In my studies I have come across many references to the work of the National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council and want to start by noting that my submissions to these official prediction people are by no means the scientific journals with complete descriptions of stress in the rocks and chronological gaps that might exist in the effected areas and etc. Yesterday I read an account about the famous Brady-Spence prediction of 1980 and 1981 and how it received a complete review with then Chairman of NEPEC, Clarence Allen chairing a big inquisition. It may be noteworthy that their prediction was ultimately determined not to be, “A logical extension of commonly accepted understanding and knowledge.”
My own EQ Alert Theory is nowhere near as complex as the type of prediction that may be submitted by advanced seismology teams such as Brady and Spence, I mostly submit to CEPEC and NEPEC for the purpose of later referencing the fact that this information actually existed prior to the earthquake happening, or so that it is officially a prediction and not a “postdiction,” the word they use to describe guys who come along later after an earthquake and try to say that they predicted it. I have actually had guys say that it is easy to change blog entries by editing them, so this way it is at least on file somewhere more official, having been submitted to the councils via E-mail.
I want to begin by saying that when I checked the exact direction of the earthquake energy from the landfall of Tropical Cyclone Phet at Oman on June 3, the initial line led directly to an area just south of San Francisco, which I thought was like San Jose, but I now want to add the name Silicone Valley like to better define the area. The line also traverses the Hayward Fault and actually tracks very near Oakland, and does not actually physically cross San Francisco, so I added Bay Area to the name.
I have long ago correlated major earthquakes as immediately following the landfall of major hurricanes and typhoons and in the years since then have discovered that earthquakes usually follow in a straight line around the globe from the exact direction the big windstorm was traveling when it made landfall and did damage. A great example is Hurricane Hugo at Charleston, SC and the Loma Prieta earthquake 18 days later at San Francisco. That line practically crossed right over Frisco. One of my best was Hurricane Katrina/Islamabad Earthquake, which also involved the landfall of Typhoon Longwang whose earthquake energy also headed directly for Islamabad and actually crossed the energy from Katrina at that point. This is actually a much longer winded story that I won’t include all of here.
Tropical Cyclone Phet is reported to have killed 16 people in Oman, of course deaths are not exactly a scientific indication of strength of a windstorm, they do tell me something happened over there, versus, nothing. Wind speed was reported at 97 mph at landfall and while Phet had been a Category 4, it is possible that the decrease in wind speed might also contribute to potential seismic energy, having been decreased by contact of outer bands with the terra firma. It was noted that the Port of Mina-al-Fahal was not damaged, and this would become a factor in ultimately coming to know that this WAS NOT as big of a wind storm as Katrina or Hugo, and is the reason I am today listing my lower estimate as 5.5 Richters and my high number as 6.3 Richters, that is this earthquake should be between 5.5 and 6.3 Richters Magnitude. Further, the lack of damage being reported could mean a lack of damage from this earthquake when it does strike, since I like to say small hurricane equals small earthquake, medium hurricane equals medium earthquake, etc. However note that it will be possible that this earthquake energy could release energy that exists around the Silicone Valley or Hayward Fault and is waiting for something to shake it loose and release it. This might be what happened recently in Chile, but seems like kind of a long shot that it could happen in Frisco during June of 2010 and I neither wish to assert that it could happen, nor predict that it could. Let’s think smallish shaker, here.
This earthquake will first have to cross Eastern Iran and Tehran, and I stated in an early alert Grozny and Pakistan, who just had a 5.0 Richters shaker yesterday. Seattle, and Mount Saint Helens are very close to this line as well as Eureka and the Triple Plate Junction which could react to this earthquake energy within this window as well. But my primary focus today is Oakland, San Francisco, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Pleasanton, San Jose, and Los Gatos. This is not to say that Lompoc, Santa Barbara, or Ventura County, etc. will not be affected, it just don’t look like they should worry about getting this earthquake so I won’t include those cities.
My best guess for the exact parameters on this earthquake is June 19, 2010 at 6.0 Richters for Freemont, Milpitas, San Jose as the epicenter judging by exactly where this line will cross and not knowing the fault line situations in that region, these are just the exact towns nearest that line. I notice Alum Rock, and Morgan Hill are almost intersected by this line, but I’m not sure that means anything today. The range of this new upcoming major earthquake should be between 5.5 and 6.3 Richters Magnitude and this alert for Frisco will start running out on Day 30 after Phet, or July 5, and expires Day 40 or July 15 only because 43 days covers all but one or two of these earthquakes that historically follow, and are probably the result of, major windstorms.
That continuing swarm of aftershocks from the recent major earthquake at Baja California, Mexico could also now figure into this new earthquake energy! While I haven’t actually heard any discussion about the direction these tectonic plates are moving, or exactly what is going on with this extensive movement that seems to be taking place down there, I want to guess it means a major movement of the North American Tectonic Plate against the Pacific Tectonic Plate. I am mentioning this right now mostly because it might indicate that there could be seismic energy built up or building up around the San Francisco Bay area as a result of this seismic activity. Absent precision measuring equipment such as we use in the mechanical industries, or access to those GPS measurements that somebody’s taking via satellite, I can only guess that earthquake energy is building up somewhere.
A series of tornadoes struck Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania last night and has left behind significant damage. This will now also be the cause of some new earthquake energy of between 5.5 and 6.5 Richters for Las Vegas, Los Angeles, or I suppose possibly as far north as S.F. Bay, again. That scenario will have to be submitted in its entirety on a separate O.P. at a later date. Although right here and now if I apply it to this Official Prediction, then you have Tropical Cyclone Phet at Omar, the upwards of ten thousand Richters of continuing earthquakes at Baja California, and the resulting potential seismic energy from the Illinois/Ohio/Pennsylvania Tornado all heading directly for the San Francisco Bay area if you will. Regardless of if Phet alone had enough earthquake energy, or how much damage the tornado did, or where exactly the Baja California energy is heading, today it all seems to be falling directly on the shoulders of the State of California and the California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council as a result!!!
So, be watching for this next major earthquake and you might remember the January 9, 2010 Eureka earthquake struck directly under my December 22, 2009 Official Prediction and that the now great Haiti earthquake struck at 4pm on the final day of that window, or January 12, 2010, and this Official Prediction should be considered to be worthy of comparison.

This letter is an update to my recent E-Mail that discussed a possible earthquake in Mexico with a chance for California. Today I want to note that I did some quick research in an effort to provide actual numbers supporting those statements and in checking back through Hurricanes that made identical landfalls to Alex during the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, and 2000-2010, I did not find any major earthquakes striking Mexico, of course there could have been some that did not show up in my brief scan. What I did find was several that struck California, one that struck Idaho, one in Minnesota, and one in Maryland. Then major ones around the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate which is out in the general direction that the bulk of this earthquake energy will always travel once it crosses to the Pacific Tectonic Plate. This letter deals exclusively with the fact that I did track the landfall of several westbound hurricanes at Mexico and found California to be effected somewhat.
There is also presently an Official Prediction for the San Francisco Bay Area that will run until around July 15, 2010 for San Jose, Milpitas, and Fremont at 6 Richters, but this potential earthquake energy will probably not combine with the earthquake energy from Hurricane Alex and should stay focused on the Bay Area. The energy from Hurricane Alex will probably NOT focus directly on Frisco, rather it seems more likely to strike and shake a much broader region such as my findings above showed, or Idaho, Minnesota, or Maryland. I suppose Illinois, Missouri, and the Yellowstone Region might watch out for this 7 Magnitude earthquake as well. I will continue this paragraph since this runs along that line and that is the fact that we do not seem to have the open line of communication with the people living in those areas that Weather Central people afford themselves. I have come to the realization that this may be in part due to the fact that teachings picked up by Geology and Seismology Professionals do not consist of a lot of Public Information education because none of these experts seem to have much of an idea about how to announce earthquakes. On the contrary Weather People announce all sorts of different weather information on a daily basis and it makes it seem obvious that they are well educated and probably especially taught all about how to interrupt the lives of people to announce things like Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and even simple stuff like Thunder, and Lightening. It is starting to appear that Seismology, Geology, CEPEC, NEPEC, and other earthquake hazard mitigation people apparently DO NOT know quite so much about how to do just that. In the meantime we could fairly easily consult with the weather people by phoning Weather Central, or in the case of Geology at UW-Madison, walking across the plaza to Meteorology and simply asking. “Hey, how do you get up the nerve to go on-camera and always tell people tornadoes are heading for them” is about all you need to ask them, or what additional special classes they are taught to so deeply affect peoples daily lives, since this is a far different subject from reading maps, etc. This due to yet another of my recent Official Predictions actually ending up being almost the exact spot at the exact moment that I had an alert for. The Borrego Springs area of Southern California is an area that I know well, having worked at the Sony Plant in Rancho Bernardo and worked with guys from Escondido and Yuccaipa, I’ve toured that region many times and Aquanga, Idyllwild, Sultan Sea, Palm Springs, etc. are some of my favorite places. While I had stated Whittier, and La Puente to measure off, I now must say I could hardly have been more than like about 20 or 30 miles off and I had just posted an alert update yesterday morning for L.A. Also, yesterday I examined the tornado damage at Eagle, Wisconsin and double-checked their local papers at one of the local libraries over that way to find only a few homes actually destroyed and albeit a lot of minor damage and quite a number of trees broken off and uprooted. There was also a recent report that 2000 trees, many of which may have been 40 foot pines, are gone from around the Old World Wisconsin area which also suffered much damage. On that note in the moments before last nights 5.4 Richters Borrego Springs earthquake it was possible that we could have lowered the magnitude of the Los Angeles, Whittier, La Puente prediction, but that earthquake struck only a couple hours after I arrived home from that tour.
In summation, this is a reminder that there is still a minor alert for San Francisco Bay Area at 6 Richters, and now a new alert for all of California, Idaho, etc. for 7 Richters and I suppose there is a slight chance that Frisco could also be eligible for the 7 Richters Alex resultant, but it does not seem highly likely, rather I’d be watching those other areas. Additionally, I must add here in the event that anybody actually reads my writing all the way this far into it which seems unlikely, I must add that the energy of Hurricane Alex has already shown signs of a medium sized movement of the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate and that I have followed this movement on several other occasions and this variety of tectonic plate movement will push straight up along that longitudinal line with California at the other side of the Arctic Tectonic Plate which has now many time passed the earthquake energies faithfully, again indicating California in a manner similar to how Hurricane Ivans energy traveled to the scene of the Parkfield Earthquake in September of 2004.
Finally, I want to note there is also now a small Tropical Depression, or T.D.-2, at South Padre Island, Texas that could possibly be sending yet more energy towards the California-Mexico Border area but will be so small that I will not file any special O.P. with CEPEC. It could result in one more 5.1 Richters earthquake around Poway, El Cajon, Santee on about the evening of July 13 at 5:58pm local time there for the record. The councils might make a note that my last several have been very accurate and that mathematically I believe I have more than proved this to be because I know what I am doing here and ask that my EQ Alert Theory be accepted and that all the information in this letter be considered to be the result of good Earthquake Mechanics work.

I attended school in my hometown in Wisconsin, and went on to receive my General Education Diploma from Blackhawk Tech in October 1981, later attending TV Actors Studio in Chicago where I received a diploma from their Commercials One and Two course in early 1989. Throughout the 1990’s I worked as a Background Actor in Chicago Film Production acclimating to Feature Roles and Bit Parts and joining the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists or AFTRA, as well as going on to begin an Apprenticeship with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in 1996 and heading to Los Angeles in 1999 when work ran out in Wisconsin. There I moved my AFTRA card and worked for Central Casting at the studios out there as well as moved my apprenticeship to work with the Southern California Millwrights local #1607 on a number of jobs out there having also worked on a lot of movies and television productions during this time as well. My California Apprenticeship was actually an Indenturement approved through Sacramento and affiliated with Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, California where I still have transcripts on file, there. I was also in one or two pretty big earthquakes including the Hector Mines earthquake during my time in Southern California. In January of 2003 I moved my carpenters union card back to Milwaukee by taking and passing their Journeymans Test and thereby completing my apprenticeship, albeit without going the graduation route. Next, I began studying earthquakes by reading books from the local libraries including the Geology Library at UW-Madison. This led to me polishing my knowledge of earthquakes that began the day of the Northridge Quake when I immediately researched the things that happened in the days leading up to that huge earthquake. My studies went right into my first book originally completed around December 2003 at the time of the Paso Robles, and Bam Iran earthquakes. I updated this in early 2005 after I had a particularly good alert out prior to the Great Sumatra Earthquake of December 2004. This new version of my first book “How To Predict Earthquakes” was represented by a literary agent buy did not find a publisher. Nor did a “Compact Edition” that I shopped to publishers myself through 2007. As of Spring of 2010, I have now completed my latest earthquake book “My Earthquake Memoirs” and am currently in the process of submitting queries to Literary Agents on that new project. Never married I currently reside at Moms house on Lake Koshkonong in Wisconsin where I watch Hurricanes, Typhoon, windstorms in general and earthquakes very closely on a daily basis and I write an EQ Blog that is producing my first pay-check any day now. OFFICIAL PREDICTION FOR A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE TO STRIKE
THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA BEFORE JULY 15, 2010
In my studies I have come across many references to the work of the National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council and want to start by noting that my submissions to these official prediction people are by no means the scientific journals with complete descriptions of stress in the rocks and chronological gaps that might exist in the effected areas and etc. Yesterday I read an account about the famous Brady-Spence prediction of 1980 and 1981 and how it received a complete review with then Chairman of NEPEC, Clarence Allen chairing a big inquisition. It may be noteworthy that their prediction was ultimately determined not to be, “A logical extension of commonly accepted understanding and knowledge.”
My own EQ Alert Theory is nowhere near as complex as the type of prediction that may be submitted by advanced seismology teams such as Brady and Spence, I mostly submit to CEPEC and NEPEC for the purpose of later referencing the fact that this information actually existed prior to the earthquake happening, or so that it is officially a prediction and not a “postdiction,” the word they use to describe guys who come along later after an earthquake and try to say that they predicted it. I have actually had guys say that it is easy to change blog entries by editing them, so this way it is at least on file somewhere more official, having been submitted to the councils via E-mail.
I want to begin by saying that when I checked the exact direction of the earthquake energy from the landfall of Tropical Cyclone Phet at Oman on June 3, the initial line led directly to an area just south of San Francisco, which I thought was like San Jose, but I now want to add the name Silicone Valley like to better define the area. The line also traverses the Hayward Fault and actually tracks very near Oakland, and does not actually physically cross San Francisco, so I added Bay Area to the name.
I have long ago correlated major earthquakes as immediately following the landfall of major hurricanes and typhoons and in the years since then have discovered that earthquakes usually follow in a straight line around the globe from the exact direction the big windstorm was traveling when it made landfall and did damage. A great example is Hurricane Hugo at Charleston, SC and the Loma Prieta earthquake 18 days later at San Francisco. That line practically crossed right over Frisco. One of my best was Hurricane Katrina/Islamabad Earthquake, which also involved the landfall of Typhoon Longwang whose earthquake energy also headed directly for Islamabad and actually crossed the energy from Katrina at that point. This is actually a much longer winded story that I won’t include all of here.
Tropical Cyclone Phet is reported to have killed 16 people in Oman, of course deaths are not exactly a scientific indication of strength of a windstorm, they do tell me something happened over there, versus, nothing. Wind speed was reported at 97 mph at landfall and while Phet had been a Category 4, it is possible that the decrease in wind speed might also contribute to potential seismic energy, having been decreased by contact of outer bands with the terra firma. It was noted that the Port of Mina-al-Fahal was not damaged, and this would become a factor in ultimately coming to know that this WAS NOT as big of a wind storm as Katrina or Hugo, and is the reason I am today listing my lower estimate as 5.5 Richters and my high number as 6.3 Richters, that is this earthquake should be between 5.5 and 6.3 Richters Magnitude. Further, the lack of damage being reported could mean a lack of damage from this earthquake when it does strike, since I like to say small hurricane equals small earthquake, medium hurricane equals medium earthquake, etc. However note that it will be possible that this earthquake energy could release energy that exists around the Silicone Valley or Hayward Fault and is waiting for something to shake it loose and release it. This might be what happened recently in Chile, but seems like kind of a long shot that it could happen in Frisco during June of 2010 and I neither wish to assert that it could happen, nor predict that it could. Let’s think smallish shaker, here.
This earthquake will first have to cross Eastern Iran and Tehran, and I stated in an early alert Grozny and Pakistan, who just had a 5.0 Richters shaker yesterday. Seattle, and Mount Saint Helens are very close to this line as well as Eureka and the Triple Plate Junction which could react to this earthquake energy within this window as well. But my primary focus today is Oakland, San Francisco, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Pleasanton, San Jose, and Los Gatos. This is not to say that Lompoc, Santa Barbara, or Ventura County, etc. will not be affected, it just don’t look like they should worry about getting this earthquake so I won’t include those cities.
My best guess for the exact parameters on this earthquake is June 19, 2010 at 6.0 Richters for Freemont, Milpitas, San Jose as the epicenter judging by exactly where this line will cross and not knowing the fault line situations in that region, these are just the exact towns nearest that line. I notice Alum Rock, and Morgan Hill are almost intersected by this line, but I’m not sure that means anything today. The range of this new upcoming major earthquake should be between 5.5 and 6.3 Richters Magnitude and this alert for Frisco will start running out on Day 30 after Phet, or July 5, and expires Day 40 or July 15 only because 43 days covers all but one or two of these earthquakes that historically follow, and are probably the result of, major windstorms.
That continuing swarm of aftershocks from the recent major earthquake at Baja California, Mexico could also now figure into this new earthquake energy! While I haven’t actually heard any discussion about the direction these tectonic plates are moving, or exactly what is going on with this extensive movement that seems to be taking place down there, I want to guess it means a major movement of the North American Tectonic Plate against the Pacific Tectonic Plate. I am mentioning this right now mostly because it might indicate that there could be seismic energy built up or building up around the San Francisco Bay area as a result of this seismic activity. Absent precision measuring equipment such as we use in the mechanical industries, or access to those GPS measurements that somebody’s taking via satellite, I can only guess that earthquake energy is building up somewhere.
A series of tornadoes struck Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania last night and has left behind significant damage. This will now also be the cause of some new earthquake energy of between 5.5 and 6.5 Richters for Las Vegas, Los Angeles, or I suppose possibly as far north as S.F. Bay, again. That scenario will have to be submitted in its entirety on a separate O.P. at a later date. Although right here and now if I apply it to this Official Prediction, then you have Tropical Cyclone Phet at Omar, the upwards of ten thousand Richters of continuing earthquakes at Baja California, and the resulting potential seismic energy from the Illinois/Ohio/Pennsylvania Tornado all heading directly for the San Francisco Bay area if you will. Regardless of if Phet alone had enough earthquake energy, or how much damage the tornado did, or where exactly the Baja California energy is heading, today it all seems to be falling directly on the shoulders of the State of California and the California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council as a result!!!
