~~~~~~~Today I'm sending an update to the attached letter regarding my correlation with Major Earthquakes and Severe Winter Conditions due especially to a lot more additional Severe Winter stuff currently happening all across the country. Updating my previous snowfall amounts that were the basis for the original writing, Mt. Baker, California is now saying 149 Inch Base!!! As of the date January 23, 2016, now upwards of FOUR (4) Feet of snow has struck our East Coast and at best this will extend this alert to about March 5, 2016 or Day 43 after all of that brand-new Major Snowfall there.
~~~~~~~A report just came in on Sunday Night of records being broken for COLD on the East Coast including one extreme temperature of MINUS 37 degrees, one report of wind chill being MINUS 114 Degrees, and Boston getting a record MINUS 19 Degrees albeit far below the normal record for that region, too! I've surely already gone into the effects such heavy amounts of snowfall have on tectonic plates and need only add Extreme Cold will also shrink much of the ground it comes in contact with in the same manner as we have used "Dry Ice" to shrink a big stuck valve in a Power Plant one day and in under an hour it was loosened. . . and removed effectively! As I like to say that proves to me that such cold conditions can also affect tectonic plates in the same exact manner!!!
~~~~~~~There was a large number of small earthquakes at around the State of Maine along the border there with Canada or around 19 total as of my last observation there. On Saturday a 5.1 Oklahoma Earthquake struck on the numerical anniversary of the Eureka 2010 Earthquake that also struck a similar number of days after a big East Coast Blizzard of December 18-19, 2009. You may still view THAT "Official Prediction" that came to precede both Eureka 2010 and Haiti @ http://earthquakealert.blogspot.com/2009/12/official-prediction-california-just.html I submit to you all today that the CURRENT Conditions will in all probability also come to precede a Major California Earthquake, now!
~~~~~~~Finally, while I had and continue to say for California, even saying on my "Earthquake Minute" Simi Valley, 6.4 February 11, 2016, at this time I should add that such movement as one of my Seismology Collegues pointed out will not have a given time frame and will consist mainly of a general basic movement of large tectonic regions and therefore I'm now saying to watch all along the San Andreas Fault and perhaps Mexico for a Major Earthquake!! I suppose it is due to the fact that the jurisdiction of the California and National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Councils (CEPEC, and NEPEC) ends at Tijuana, Mexico. . . that I heavily emphasize California. Seattle, Cascadia, Idaho, Alaska, and Oklahoma could also get more shaking and the original New Madrid Earthquakes appear to have also been preceded by Severe Winter Conditions!!!

New Official Prediction For California At 7 Richters Before February 11, 2016, NOW Updated!!!

~~~~~With those enormous snowfall amounts now racking up in the Sierras and Lake Tahoe Region I am now forced to write you with a very serious new Earthquake Prediction sort of write-up!
~~~~~The snowfall amounts I'm going to give you might look more like a "Ski Report" due to many of these locations also being ski resorts and also because some of the snowfall amounts might actually BE ski reports. Mt. Baker 80", Sugar Bowl 59", Heavenly 38", and I believe I checked to find 80 inches equals just over 6 feet of snow!
~~~~~In the past I have first discovered Severe Winter Conditions preceded the Northridge Earthquake, then used that to put out an "EQ Alert" prior to Paso Robles Earthquake, as well as an Official Prediction based on Severe Winter Conditions dated December 22, 2009 for a Major California Earthquake before January 12, 2010. That O.P. then came to precede the Eureka 2010 7.5 Richters Earthquake of January 9, 2010, and the Haiti Earthquake struck on the final day of that prediction, January 12, 2010 and therefore may also be affected by this new alert here.
~~~~~As with those other Major California Earthquakes I mentioned above, as soon as I became aware of the growing seriousness of California's Snowfall conditions recently, I began to discuss the fact that we could be looking at a Major Earthquake and that I may very soon go into alert mode and the possibility of filing these facts with the councils. That was when all the shaking began there!!! First at Reno, Nevada at 4.2 Richters both preceded and followed by many, many smaller earthquakes and accompanied by one enormous felt report, too! I don't have the geographic description of all the snowfall areas nearby that Reno Epicenter, but considered that the gound settling as the result of tons of snow, and had already started my alert the day before. My mention of a possible earthquake was December 21, and the Reno Earthquake was December 22, 2015 and there had also been a 3.1 San Ramon/Frisco, and 3.4 Newport Beach/Costa Mesa Earthquake, too helping signal the need for this new Official Prediction.
~~~~~Today, December 24, 2015 my phone rang with a 3.7 Richters Earthquake at Bishop, California and I knew then and there I needed to write to at least the California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council with this now very important new EQ Alert and thereby make this a Prediction that California could now be looking at a 6 to 7 Richters Major Earthquake at any moment now, and into January 2016. Upon further research I notice the Lakeview, Oregon Epicenter also received an earthquake today at 4.4 Richters and this one was reportedly felt in San Francisco, noting the Bishop Earthquake was reported felt in Anaheim, California who was also the epicenter of a 2.6 Richters Earthquake on Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
~~~~~Lots of potential "Foreshocks" that all combined can attest to the fact that California is in all probability now looking at a 7 Richters Earthquake. While I may later craft this information into a "Prediction" to entertain my radio show audience where I've amazingly even been right on 6 out of 6 occasions, for now let's guess Bakersfield, Oakland, or The Santa Barbara Channel where tsunami's may also be in order! Until a formal prediction with an exact epicenter, date, and magnitude is written up, let's just acknowledge the fact that this alert will run until February 11, 2016 although most recently I've been extending alerts to Day 60 in this case that would be February 19, and putting the "End Date" at Day 76 or in this case that would be March 6, 2016. This earthquakes connected directly with this alert will be concluded before those dates.
~~~~~One more 3.9 just struck the Lakeview, Oregon Epicenter as I was writing this paper, so I must now sign-off in order to get back to following those earthquakes and watching for 6 to 7 Richters to strike California very soon! Hello Mr. Blanpied,
-------Writing today to bring you up to date on the fact that I have been watching the Illinois and Indiana Region for exactly 5.2 Richters and especially want you to know this today because I've mentioned it on my Radio Show "Earthquake Minute" now several times and see the date coming up here so I thought it time to write you. The actual date I gave originally was November 31, 2015 although I recently discovered there only to be 30 days in November and therefore in this weeks "Earthquake Minute," last Friday, I made that correction.
-------Further, there are one or two notable dates also coming up that could also affect this potential earthquake and those dates are December 4 or Day 42 after the landfall of Hurricane Patricia at Mexico and December 5, or Day 43 after that landfall. Over time I've quite commonly tracked such what I call "Earthquake Energy" across different places and will not go into all that here, beyond saying the line from that landfall crosses Oklahoma where they've got two at 4.7 in the last ten days as well as a number of earthquakes at New Madrid, including a small swarm of 23 earthquakes on November 25 and 26, where the line also crosses directly through. You should note it also crosses far up into Quebec and reaches Iceland where this earthquake could go as high as 7 Richters.
-------I've now tracked this possible earthquake right up to about the limit in number of days where I might expect it to shake in this Illinois-Indiana Region. At one point I mentioned a line from "Moonshine, Illinois, to Kokomo, Indiana" and another time gave it as "Kokomo, Indiana where they do get earthquakes," although noting this not to be a "Prediction" due to having a lot of friends in that region you understand. Therefore I really only wanted to be saying there could be an earthquake for just about anyone, anywhere in this region. Note the region also includes parts of Texas and Arkansas for the record.
-------Wouldn't be a "Prediction" if I did not send this letter today to the National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council and am as usual including CEPEC although California will not be affected by this alert

-------I want to take a moment to discuss the fact that there now appears to be enough earthquake energy happening between Oklahoma and Nevada/California that I consider it worth while to extend my already existing Official Prediction of June 12, 2015 to run through August 22, 2015. -------In August of 2014 you might recall there were lots of swarms going on in many areas around the West Coast including Northwest Nevada, Geysers, Kettlemen City, Mammoth Lakes, Incline Village, Redlands, Lone Pine, as well as Haines Junction Alaska. All of this during the window of an Official Prediction that I submitted to the Councils on June 24, 2014 and extended a time or two due to a lot of big windstorms also making landfall during this period. I also traveled out to Oakland to personally check out the earthquake that I was expecting might strike under the August 2014 Full Moon-Super Moon on one of my “Quake Chases.”
-------A big part of my determination that such an earthquake was imminent was all of the fracking earthquakes they had been getting in Oklahoma including a 4.5 Richters Crescent, Oklahoma Earthquake on March 30, 2014. I began to notice a correlation with the occasional rise in shaking at Oklahoma because it appeared to be bringing about a rise in shaking at places such as Virginia City, Nevada that looked to me like Virginia City would shake. . . every time Oklahoma had notable shakers.
-------All of this was escalating at a fast enough pace that it was inevitable a Major Earthquake could happen when all of the added pull from that August 2014 Full Moon-Super Moon arrived there. Well, the actual earthquake came to coincide 10 days later with the August New Moon and I should mention for scientific purposes that I took into consideration a 3.7 Richters foreshock that struck Napa, California on April 3, 2014 in all this. I also want to add that I’ve been told full and new moons have equal amounts of pull on the earth, however I do not have calculations to demonstrate that nor any knowledge on that beyond a man on a train one day relating the story to me.
-------Part of the reason I want to extend this O.P. right now is due to the fact that California appears to currently be doing a lot of shaking from all of the fracking in Oklahoma where earthquakes there are actually not earthquakes per se, rather man-made earthquakes the product of underground explosions caused by extremely high pressure water being pumped into the ground. This action causes breaks in archaic ancient fault lines and the resultant seismic energy appears to be passing along to the far western edge of the North American Tectonic Plate where it meets the Pacific Tectonic Plate or San Francisco! It is now looking like a basic fact we are going to have to live with that fracking in Oklahoma while causing a lot of earthquakes there, is now liable to be causing regular Major Earthquakes in San Francisco. Time will tell if Frisco will end up hosting all of them or if they may come to share the hosting duties with Los Angeles or other points on the West Coast.
-------So, let us watch now and see if this latest Lakeview, Oregon swarm comes to proceed the next Major California Earthquake of probably similar magnitude to Napa 2014 or perhaps even larger than that 6.0. If that happens at some point during this current onslaught of Oklahoma and Lakeview, Oregon Earthquakes and by the end of this extension on August 22, 2015, then we may well be closer to knowing for sure that San Francisco is now getting one Major Earthquake a year as the result of fracking in Oklahoma.

That landfall consisted of 100 mph winds that were totally disapated by Typhoon Nangka's contact with that island, thereby transmitting and generating an enormous amount of brand new Major Earthquake Energy.
-----When I check the direction all of this new Earthquake Energy with my Globe/Straight Line Tool it intersects New Foundland, and Caribbean with our East Coast only a few miles to the west of where the line crosses from North to South there. Does also intersect that region responsible for the most recent East Coast Tsunami and although it seems sort of a long-shot, such an alert should be at least mentioned herein. This alert is for about 7 Richters and I notice Providence already shook early today, so the possibility is out there for 7 Richters East Coast, New Foundland, or Caribbean before September 1, 2015.

~~~~~~~As of the date of landfall of Hurricane Blanca at the shores of Baja California on June 6th and 7th, 2015, there is now likely to be additional new earthquake energy striking California, but when I place the spot and direction of that landfall on the globe with my straight-line tool, Seattle also is directly in line with this possible "Straight-Line Earthquake Energy" and further on, the line intersects Kathmandu, Nepal. Nepal has already received 2 notably larger earthquakes yesterday a 4.8 and 4.6 that can be considered larger than average there. These could all be 6.6 to 7.3 Richters and this alert runs up to Day 33 on July 10, 2015 but could be continued well into August with respect to that last alert that kept on moving both the Pacific and Indio/Australian Tectonic Plate, I counted carefully up to 76 Days!
~~~~~~~Incredibly that would take us to about August 22, 2015 if this were to be the case, however note that I routinely do not follow such garden variety hurricane landfalls much beyond a Day 43 which in this case will take us up to about July 20, 2015. Until then we are watching for a repeat of the 1999 Hector Mine Earthquake at Los Angeles due to my line closely intersecting there. . . and then continuing on. I can not ignore the fact that the line crossed directly through Seattle, but must note that this was the line with the highest wind speeds and Hurricane Blanca did in fact make a turn towards the north before actually crossing onto land with winds less than a hundred at that point. Therefore I will continue to primarly watch that initial line where Blanca first crossed Socorro Island and not by coincidence a 4.1 struck 149 miles East Northeast of Socorro Island about 48 hours after that landfall on Tuesday.
~~~~~~~Because I am now submitting this information to both the California and National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Councils, it could be interpreted to be an "Earthquake Prediction" For Los Angeles, Seattle, and a big Kathmandu Aftershock before July 20, 2015, although I actually write to your offices more with the purpose of keeping you up-to-date on what earthquakes may be striking soon and thereby demonstrating the very latest in the vast world of earthquake prediction knowledge. ~~~~~~~Up to this point in time all "EQ Alerts" that I have ever written up for situations when whatever source of potentially upcoming Earthquake Energy was out there, have been limited to Day 60 after landfall of a huge windstorm. When the May 2015 Full Moon initiated a huge amount of shaking at Papua New Guinea it very oddly continued for upwards of a whole entire week beyond what I call the full moon window which ran through Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 2, 3, and 4. In addition to all the additional movement of the Indio/Australian Tectonic Plate, the earthquakes continued at PNG and led up to a 7.3 Richters Earthquake at Kathmandu on May 11, 2015 Central and Eastern Time, probably Pacific Time, too.
~~~~~~~With all due respect for the fact that PNG also had one big 7.1 Richters Earthquake among the week long list of Full Moon Shakers and then Kathmandu shaking from all that added movement of that tectonic plate, PNG seems to continue getting earthquakes that continue to be notable and here is the entire list starting at the May Full Moon Window at Earthquake Central: http://www.eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/05/earthquakes-at-papua-new-guinea.html
~~~~~~~Now, normally I would have given off the chase insofar as Day 60 coming on May 13, 2015 since landfall of Super Cyclone Pam was March 13, 2015 and that would probably be about 60 days, there. However with all of the moving seeming to continue at PNG and now far beyond the usual end limit, I must now assume that the chances for California, West Coast, or Alaska will also continue and therefore wanted to send along this extension today to let you know I am extending the EQ Alert for whatever areas to Day 67, possibly Day 70 and I'm thinking it might even run all the way to Day 80!
~~~~~~~Also, there has just been that landfall of Tropical Storm Ana at Myrtle Beach and this could create a 5 Magnitude Earthquake for our East Coast in the same manner the landfall of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico on August 21, 2011 caused the 2011 Virginia Earthquake on August 23, 2011. Whatever little bit of earthquake energy could have been created by Ana's 60mph winds will also travel up into Washington and Oregon, but I do not really expect that to be a factor worth adding to this present alert which has been causing so much havoc up to this point.
~~~~~~~Rather, we should mostly watch for a Major Alaska Earthquake that is now about overdue and just any additional movement at California, Cascadia, or West Coast that is consistant with all the other big earthquakes that have already struck inside of this present "EQ Alert" which is herein being extended to May 23, 2015. . . or June 2, 2015. I actually wanted to say June 2 at the latest, but we will actually have to even wait and see much closer to that date and might assume it should be the end, extending it from that point only in the event that this now ongoing series of Major Earthquakes continues. Note that there will likely be a number of other Major Earthquakes at PNG, Kathmandu, Japan, Indonesia, etc. and continuing to be the result of that landfall of Super Cyclone Pam but only remotely related to todays submission to the California and National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Councils.
