As you might know over the years I have employed severe winter conditions as just one of my methods for tracking potential earthquake energy. There is currently what I deem to be quite enough of that to warrant watching this coming Monday, February 25, 2013, also date of this months Full Moon, watching for Major Earthquake at California or our West Coast. Add Alaska, too, since recent one struck at Craig, Alaska.
Here is a copy of that EQ Blog I just posted today which goes on to add Day 20, or the following Saturday will be the date of correlation with the date of Northridge Earthquake and the Eureka 2010 Earthquake. Of course Day 23 after severe winter conditions, or the date of the Haiti Earthquake will then follow. 5.8 Richters 20 Miles South of Colima, Mexico!!! Keep Watching California!!!
There was a 5.8 at Colima, Mexico yesterday. Monday will be the correlation date of Paso Robles Earthquake, and recent Craig, Alaska Earthquake and amount of snow does not appear to be backing off along our East Coast although I had heard of some melting we should continue to watch as a precaution. ALSO, Monday, February 25, 2013 will be the FULL MOON! So, here we have a date of correlation with Major Earthquakes, due date FOR a new major shaker, and a Full Moon event all coming up on this Monday! Be watching until then for a new event to shake California or our West Coast on a date number that just could be less than 16 after severe winter event. But also remember Day 20, the correlation date with Northridge and Eureka 2010 will follow. EQ Guy

Great Northridge Earthquake 19 Year Anniversary!!!!!
It was just another day of writing screenplays for major motion pictures like I was trying to be doing every day back on this day in 1994. I do not always turn on the TV or a radio since I figured out I can produce more material without any such inturuptions, so when I finally did turn on the TV I could not believe what I was seeing! The pictures on the TV were unbelievable! The destruction, fires and all of the talk of seismology and fault lines and aftershocks, etc. were so unfamiliar to me back in those days that I wouldn't have known much at all about what the professionals were even talking about! Then came the list of names of famous celebrities, stars, and all the notoria who were quickly becoming involved in what was the very first Major Earthquake ever to strike Hollywood!!! There had been smaller ones over the years in the general region but this was practically a direct hit!
That was the exact moment on that day on January 17, 1994 when I decided that I, too, must try to do my share to help in the great effort that was about to start taking place! That was to help the people of Los Angeles in any way possible! Others were helping by traveling out there to do rescue, and search and rescue work, others Red Cross work. Me. . . after giving it a few moments of thought away from my screenplay writing, I decided that I would spend a few hours looking into what might have caused such a Major Earthquake to happen!!! That was when I began immediately to check through just the most recent old newspapers still around the house and then the ones still in a nearby recycling bag. There I found that the most likely culprit was those severe winter conditions that we just so happened to be experiencing right there in Wisconsin! Yes, sub-zero temperatures, two feet of snow across the entire country, 55 mile per hour winds, and 4 feet of snow in the Sierras convinced me that the movement of the North American Tectonic Plate was forcing against the Pacific Tectonic Plate out around the San Andreas Fault and caused a fault line to shake at or near Northridge, California! The rest is history!
Of course I used that exact information to write out a "Winter Conditions EQ Alert" prior to the Paso Robles Earthquake in 2003, and an Official Prediction from those same severe winter conditions in December of 2009 which resulted in the Eureka 2010 Earthquake and a few days later the Haiti Earthquake! Possibly also the cause of our more recent 7.5 Richters Earthquake at Craig, Alaska. Over the years combining many other factors to create what I today call "Precision Plate Tectonics" or tracking precision movements of tectonic plates in order to calculate future movements! CONCLUSION AND SUMMATION OF OFFICIAL EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION: FAIRBANKS, POPLAR BLUFF, JAMAICA DATED OCTOBER 14, 2012
The date given as the original end date for this recent Official Prediction was November 12, 2012, but I am writing today to conclude this Official Prediction due to it looking like a lot of earthquake energy being released that was probably associated with this alert.
On the occasion of the landfall of Typhoon Jelawat at Japan on September 30, 2012, I wrote and filed an Official Prediction. At that time it was my opinion that this earthquake energy should have crossed Alaska at around Fairbanks and continued on towards Edmonton. . . of course I had very little confidence that Edmonton would end up having anything to do with it and at one point glanced more over towards Vancouver Island ultimately leaving it out due to it being quite far West of what I thought to be the line.
Other writings from about that time mentioned the Denali Fault and it being a thrust fault not a slip fault. Someone commented me asking if that mechanism that I referred to might have had anything to do with an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 that struck Queen Charlotte Island, Canada late on October 27, 2012. Whether it was something to do with the effect of this earthquake energy having to cross that region where the Denali Fault exists, or just a 1 or 2 degree error in my reading of the straight line in this investigation was not determined. Additionally I had written somewhere else that after the Queen Charlotte Island Earthquake, I felt it necessary to move the line over away from New Madrid/Poplar Bluff and more over towards Oklahoma and Texas.
Now, with the addition of hindsight I can honestly say that I might have also reran the line from Japan using Queen Charlotte Island and thus I would have came out with not only a line that runs straight through Texas, but a straight-line that continues on and runs directly through Guatemala where yesterday they got a 7.5 Richters Earthquake.
Therefore the Official Prediction that this Summation pertains to should be concluded and it is my opinion that all of this major earthquake energy has been released.
With that I might consider this Official Prediction as having attained some success! The fact that Edmonton, Alberta in Canada falls just 6 or 700 miles East of the actual epicenter at Queen Charlotte appears to satisfy the assertions of this O.P. Queen Charlotte Island and Guatemala appear to be the line I was watching through New Madrid and on to Jamaica with that hopefully exhausting all of this earthquake energy.
There will still be an Official Prediction in effect for Ottawa, Canada/China, and Indonesia, as well as the most recent one filed for Lompoc, California/San Joaquin, and Western Nevada. Those lines should be much, much closer to accurate. Thank-You again for reading! Sincerely, EQ Alert Guy

Statement of Opinion For A Major Earthquake: East Coast!!!
STATEMENT OF OPINION REGARDING POSSIBLE MAJOR EARTHQUAKE STRIKING THE EAST COAST OF THE U.S. BEFORE NOVEMBER 16, 2012
I thought I would temporarily discontinue the use of the word prediction in these writings since they tend to draw too much attention to my earthquake writings and I do not actually ever “Predict” earthquakes per se in the first place. Today I want to simply issue a full length Opinion. It is my opinion that there is a lot of major earthquake energy that has just been generated by the landfall of Hurricane Sandy at Jamaica and Cuba.
The wind speeds reported at these landfalls are 80 to 90 mph at Jamaica bearing due North, and as high as 175 mph at landfall at Eastern Cuba with a heading slightly to the East of due North. Combined these two will both generate significant new earthquake energy although the two were separated by at least a few hours and it is possible that the due north nature of the Jamaica landfall will send earthquake energy more to the due North than the landfall at Cuba which appears to have turned just slightly to the East and could tend to more affect the Long Island and Greater Boston Regions. Therefore, the landfall of Hurricane Sandy at Jamaica with winds reported in the 80-90 mph range might generate just enough energy to be heading up towards Charleston, Richmond, Chesapeake Bay, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Ottawa. In the event that these end up being two separate entities, the Richmond, Baltimore, Ottawa shaker will be much smaller and shouldn’t go much beyond 5.5 Richters and I would say 6 would be a lot. Keep in mind that the additional earthquake energy from the landfall at Cuba will be right behind it on a track that will run just to the East of it.
The new potential earthquake energy from the landfall of Hurricane Sandy at Cuba with winds reported to be as high as 175 mph will also head Northerly, but the big windstorm had made a slight turn to the East a degree or two during that landfall and as a result this much larger energy should cross just offshore Charleston, cross onto North America at Long Island, New York, and proceed Northerly on a straight line towards Greater Boston. The line ultimately continues to Chongqing, China, Irkutsk, and Jakarta, Indonesia much further down the road. This will be a slightly larger shaker we are talking about here and since the two main regions concerned are Long Island, and Boston, it does not seem too realistic that the folks in those regions have much to worry about, but then that’s sort of what the Italian Scientists said, too, more about that later.
Finally there is an existing Official Prediction for Alaska, New Madrid, and Jamaica that should continue on virtually unaffected by all of this new earthquake energy until November 12, 2012. This new “Unofficial Opinion” will be effective for the Eastern U.S. until November 16, 2012 but will continue on through December 6, 2012 for Irkutsk, China, and Indonesia.
There are one or two Major Earthquakes heading for The United States and while the possibility does exist that we will only get a few shakes from the earthquake energy passing through on the way to other places such as Surinam, French Guiana, Irkutsk, and China. . . it is my Unofficial Opinion that we need to open up the channels of communication with the general public at every point where signs of an earthquake are occurring. The failure to do so might have something to do with the fact that all of those previously “Great” Seismology guys are now going to prison for very long stretches, losing there titles forever, and being ordered to compensate the victims of that earthquake they failed to admit was being accurately predicted. There is a lot of truth to the methods Giuliani used in his now fateful attempt to save lives through his work with earthquakes. While it is unfortunate that true earthquake prediction has to move forward at the expense of ALL of those involved, move forward it should.
As a result of that verdict in the L’Aquila Seismologists earthquake trial, I am today open for ideas as to what my earthquake alert group can do to improve such communications between earthquake people and the general public. I feel it is my job to propagate this earthquake information, but also am thinking there are still a lot of people that have never heard of my work with earthquakes and possibly neither the work of Giampaolo Giuliani the now Great Italian Scientist who fairly accurately predicted the 2009 L’Aquila Earthquake and could have saved peoples lives if not for all of the naysayers.
There is a lot of earthquake energy here, and all of this earthquake energy WILL STRIKE somewhere. The question is how and when are we going to go about letting the public in on all the latest earthquake prediction type information?

Next, I began studying earthquakes by reading books from the local libraries including the Geology Library at UW-Madison. This led to me polishing my knowledge of earthquakes that began the day of the Northridge Quake when I immediately researched the things that happened in the days leading up to that huge earthquake. My studies went right into my first book originally completed around December 2003 at the time of the Paso Robles, and Bam Iran earthquakes. I updated this in early 2005 after I had a particularly good alert out prior to the Great Sumatra Earthquake of December 2004. This new version of my first book “How To Predict Earthquakes” was represented by a literary agent but did not find a publisher. Nor did a “Compact Edition” that I shopped to publishers myself through 2007. I recently completed my latest earthquake book “My Earthquake Memoirs” and am currently in the process of submitting queries to Literary Agents on that new project. I more recently started writing earthquake stories and submitting them to newspapers, magazines, and etc. with the hope of getting a few earthquake stories printed in an attempt to establish myself as an earthquake writer and have references and experience towards getting one of my now many earthquake books published. Official Earthquake Prediction: Fairbanks, Poplar Bluff, Jamaica
OFFICIAL EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION: FAIRBANKS, POPLAR BLUFF, JAMAICA AT 5 TO 7 RICHTERS BEFORE NOVEMBER 12, 2012
The landfall of Typhoon Jelawat at Hamamatsu, Japan on September 30, 2012 with winds reported at 110 mph (Wikipedia) could have generated enough new earthquake energy to put pressure on the various tectonic plates up in that region, thereby causing earthquake energy to be released at various locations inside the United States.
While Typhoon Jelawat did strike Okinawa prior to its ultimate landfall at mainland Japan, I am not convinced that such landfalls at small islands would contribute too much additional earthquake energy to this alert and will not include any discussion about that situation which may also send earthquake energy towards our West Coast, but since there was not nearly the loss of wind speed there which equals not a lot of earthquake energy to speak of let us move on.
Upon close examination of the direction Typhoon Jelawat was traveling across the shores of Japan on its landfall, I observed the direction to be significantly farther to the north than on one occasion from 2011 where a similar landfall of Typhoon Roke sent earthquake energy DIRECTLY to Coos Bay, Oregon. The additional northerly direction when checked with my globe and straight line tool confirmed that this new earthquake energy will be traveling on a similar line to that of Typhoon Roke/Coos Bay, but curving further north on a line that intersects Fairbanks, Alaska, Edmonton, Canada, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Jamaica.
In the basic sense those regions are also the areas that I will now expect it is possible will receive portions of this new earthquake energy. More over, one of those places could or possible will receive the total amount of earthquake energy which is traveling along this line and threatening to be the cause of a major earthquake in the coming days.
As of this writing tomorrow, Monday October 15, 2012 will be the New Moon and while I have incorporated the Full Moon in some of these writings of more recent years, I have recently heard somewhere that if the full moon had any effect at all on earthquakes, then the New Moon should have the exact same effect. Therefore I will be watching specifically October 15, 2012 for earthquakes along this straight line, although I want to make sure it is clear this is not the reason for this writing. Likewise the Full Moon will occur on October 29, 2012 and by that date which will be about 30 days after the landfall of Typhoon Jelawat, it is possible that this earthquake energy could very easily reach the New Madrid, Missouri region and so I want to mention here that the date of the October 2012 full moon or October 29, 2012 does have a higher chance of being the date of the major earthquake resulting from this new earthquake energy. That release of major earthquake energy could be Jamaica as well since that is about the farthest extent that I have looked out ahead of this straight line. Guyana, French Guiana, and Suriname have been mentioned in my blog with regards to other sources of earthquake energy, but I did not track that far ahead and it is beyond NEPEC’s jurisdiction, and so I do not want to name it, but it is out there in front of this present line and beyond Jamaica. It was also very near a recent smaller 4.9 Magnitude earthquake in the last several days prior to this writing.
I mentioned in todays EQ Blog/EQ Alert that this earthquake energy will cross Alaska up in the region just north of the Denali Fault and want to add here that the line will be very near Fairbanks, Alaska but I’m thinking that any movement along that fault line would have to be slip fault movement and that fault line is a thrust fault and while this sort of motion does happen, I do not expect the Denali Fault to become a major earthquake as this new earthquake energy passes through that region. Then again I am not a seismologist and am not real familiar with Alaska much less the region around Fairbanks or the Denali Fault.
Continuing on to the name Edmonton, Canada on the list and I must say that I have no reason to believe that Edmonton will get too much shaking as a result of this earthquake energy, either, although the Yukon region does get an occasional earthquake and I suppose they could get some of this 5 to 7 Richters shaking, but it would have to be very close to my straight line and big earthquakes up along that line seem too rare to assert that one could have a chance for something such as that. Perhaps just a smaller series of 3 to 5 Richters range shakers as this earthquake energy passes along its way.
I was initially flabbergasted when I spotted the next place along this line while I actually still even had my straight line tool wrapped around my globe! The New Madrid Region of Southeast Missouri was next along this line! More specifically Poplar Bluff, Missouri was very near this line and when checking I found a fairly active region of this New Madrid Area. There have been a few medium sized earthquakes in the 3 to 5 Richters range all up in that Poplar Bluff neighborhood that I intend to take a drive down there and look into next week. While 5 is about as big as these earthquakes get, the overall region of New Madrid does have a shaky enough history that a 7 Richters Magnitude earthquake some day would not be out of the question. Whether this new earthquake energy comes to 7 Richters all totaled when originating from the landfall of a typhoon with 110 mph wind speeds, will remain to be seen. 110 mph may not have been high enough wind speeds and it was said that Typhoon Jelawat had weakened before its landfall at the mainland of Japan, although that may have been weakened to 110.
This week there was a smaller earthquake at Jonestown, Mississippi that struck at a 2.3 Richters 4 miles West Northwest of that town. I have to note there that the U.S. Geological Survey is changing their Earthquake Notification pages all around and it appears the new pages will no longer be showing the “Historic Seismicity” section among other changes and so therefore I am most unfortunately not able to comment here as to whether that 2.3 Richters shaker is at all unusual. I will say that it is and that it could even be rare enough that it helps prove this earthquake energy IS traveling along that line exactly as I have been stating and will continue to follow. The new USGS pages also do not seem to have the old conversion tables for “Time In Other Time Zones” that I have relied heavily on over the years in order to calculate exactly what time earthquakes strike in relation to other parts of the world. Rather the new “Earthquake Summary” pages seem to have some kind of time stamp that repeats UTC three times even though it is giving three separate different times and none of them seem to be the old “Time At The Epicenter.” Yes, another change intended to make all of our lives so much simpler. . . but I did manage to find the old “Responses” page and have been able at least once to see where some earthquakes were felt at. Just waiting for USGS to make good on their warning to “Phase Out” or “No Longer Maintain” all of the old pages I have long relied on to do my work including the now famous “Latest Earthquakes In The World-Past 7 Days.” That page will be missed:(
While I was composing todays Official Prediction and going back and forth to check various facts herein, one of the places I have been referring to has been that Latest Earthquakes page. Just now, and coincidentally my final discussion today, there was a 4.4 Dominican Republic earthquake, and 2 at Yellowstone also by the way, now 3. I want to close today by saying that Puerto Rico Earthquakes, Jamaica Earthquakes, Haiti Earthquakes, and Dominican Republic Earthquakes seem to be common enough that I do not feel the need to spend a lot of time saying a major earthquake such as Jamaica could easily become the Major Earthquake that will be the conclusion of this new earthquake energy episode. It is even somewhat of a shock to me that all of those are shaking right this moment as I compose the final paragraphs of this Official Prediction! I have to make the assertion that those are foreshocks occurring exactly along the straight line that I described earlier in this writing and the foreshocks along that line will be continuing through tomorrow the new moon and on, and on until ALL of this new earthquake energy which was generated by the landfall of Typhoon Jelawat at Japan on September 30, 2012. This upcoming major earthquake will be between 5 and 7 Richters and should not be too much larger than that with the only exception being earthquakes under the water tend to come out about a Richter higher, but one Richter higher than 6 is still 7 anyways, so on that thought I will go, maybe as high as 7.5 Richters for something off shore at Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, or Dominican Republic. There is still the chance the earthquake energy could reach Suriname, French Guiana, Guyana, or Venezuela, too, but that is far out of the jurisdiction of NEPEC and so I will conclude the discussion right there. The alert for this earthquake will now run through November 12, 2012.

I attended school in my hometown in Wisconsin, and went on to receive my General Education Diploma from Blackhawk Tech in October 1981, later attending TV Actors Studio in Chicago where I received a diploma from their Commercials One and Two course in early 1989. Throughout the 1990’s I worked as a Background Actor in Chicago Film Production working my way up to Feature Roles and Bit Parts and joining the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists or AFTRA, as well as going on to begin an Apprenticeship with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in 1996 and heading to Los Angeles in 1999 when work ran out in Wisconsin. There I moved my AFTRA card and worked for Central Casting at the studios out there as well as moved my apprenticeship to work with the Southern California Millwrights local #1607 on a number of jobs out there having also worked on a lot of movies and television productions during this time as well. My California Apprenticeship was actually an Indenturement approved through Sacramento and affiliated with Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, California where I still have transcripts on file, there. I was also in one or two pretty big earthquakes including the Hector Mines earthquake during my time in Southern California. In January of 2003 I moved my carpenters union card back to Milwaukee by taking and passing their Journeymans Test and thereby completing my apprenticeship, albeit without going the graduation route. Next, I began studying earthquakes by reading books from the local libraries including the Geology Library at UW-Madison. This led to me polishing my knowledge of earthquakes that began the day of the Northridge Quake when I immediately researched the things that happened in the days leading up to that huge earthquake. My studies went right into my first book originally completed around December 2003 at the time of the Paso Robles, and Bam Iran earthquakes. I updated this in early 2005 after I had a particularly good alert out prior to the Great Sumatra Earthquake of December 2004. This new version of my first book “How To Predict Earthquakes” was represented by a literary agent but did not find a publisher. Nor did a “Compact Edition” that I shopped to publishers myself through 2007. I recently completed my latest earthquake book “My Earthquake Memoirs” and am currently in the process of submitting queries to Literary Agents on that new project. I more recently started writing earthquake stories and submitting them to newspapers, magazines, and etc. with the hope of getting a few earthquake stories printed in an attempt to establish myself as an earthquake writer and have references and experience towards getting one of my now many earthquake books published. Never married I currently reside at Moms house on Lake Koshkonong in Wisconsin where I watch Hurricanes, Typhoons, windstorms in general and earthquakes very closely on a daily basis and I write my EQ Blog, EQ Twitter, and EQ Guy Facebook among other earthquake writings and some Hollywood stuff, too! In August 2008 I was hired by Per-Mar Security in Madison, Wisconsin as an Event Security person for Wisconsin Badgers Football, Basketball, Hockey, Track Meets, and etc. and while Per-Mar does not have the Badgers contract this year I continue to be employed with them and go out on many other great assignments that I continue to enjoy! There has also been a streak of Film Production in Chicago and so I have been doing a lot of acting in movies and TV Shows shooting in Chicago this year! Chicago Fire is one of my favorites where I worked right at the actual Chicago Fire Department station that is seen on TV, and continue to hope for the next call on that Great TV Series on NBC. Perhaps the biggest part of my recent acting life is as a Mafioso on FOX-TV’s “Mob Doctor” where I play a Mobster at the funeral of the father of Grace the star of that show. When the scene does air you will see me and the two other “Mobster Mourners” discussing actual mob business while Grace recalls the day from her past. Additionally, I recently received my Screen Actors Guild Card in the mail and now hope that will lead to me getting to do some real acting and parts that will lead to lots more work in TV and Motion Pictures! The landfall of Typhoon Jelawat at Hamamatsu, Japan on September 30, 2012 with winds reported at 110 mph (Wikipedia) could have generated enough new earthquake energy to put pressure on the various tectonic plates up in that region, thereby causing earthquake energy to be released at various locations inside the United States.
While Typhoon Jelawat did strike Okinawa prior to its ultimate landfall at mainland Japan, I am not convinced that such landfalls at small islands would contribute too much additional earthquake energy to this alert and will not include any discussion about that situation which may also send earthquake energy towards our West Coast, but since there was not nearly the loss of wind speed there which equals not a lot of earthquake energy to speak of let us move on.

Full Moon, September 30, 2012, Watch Mt. Fuji in Japan!!!???
There has been talk about Mt. Fuji in Japan and very near Tokyo being like either due for eruption or showing signs of an eruption. Seems like it has been something like a hundred or more years since the last major eruption of that huge volcano that is said to be very scenic in the distance from Beautiful Downtown Tokyo! While Typhoon Jelawat that is right now bearing down on Japan could be just the earthquake energy that it will take to release a huge eruption. . . such an event is more certain to be happening very soon, but it won't necessarily happen in the next several days. Just wanted to say that it does appear that Mt. Fuji IS going to be erupting one of these days!!! EQ Guy

Hurricane Issac making landfall at Haiti
The latest measure of windspeed as Tropical Storm Issac crosses Haiti is 70mph. T.S. Issac is moving NorthWest at 14mph and this looks like enough new earthquake energy that something could now very well shake up along our East Coast. I also found that Colorado got a 4.2 Richters earthquake at this time last year when Hurricane Irene made landfall at Puerto Rico on August 22, 2011 and I wrote "New Earthquake Energy" in my EQ Blog and the Richmond earthquake of 5 Richters struck the next day. Now I want to say again that this big windstorm is striking Haiti and from a slightly different angle and heading a slightly different direction. So we should continue to immediately watch Richmond, VA again. . . and most of the U.S. down the road, but I will have those updates of course. This big windstorm could yet make a landfall at the continental U.S. and could go on to affect our West Coast with earthquake energy! Be Prepared!!! EQ Guy
