They're Suffering From SEVERE Earthquake Damage in Oklahoma!!!!!

Hello, At last nights Earthquake Meeting in Downtown Prague, Oklahoma it was revealed to me that there are many, many, many folks who are suffering from enormous amounts of earthquake damage!!! The room was filled with like 500 to 1000 people with millions of questions about what is going on. It looks to me like there is actually a HIGH NUMBER of Oklahoma Folks who are presently not able to live in their homes and they do not know what they should do next. Just what was shown on the TV is enough to know these folks will need help! The ground has physically MOVED! Their foundations have been raised and lowered very severly in an area that encompasses several towns and roughly like about a hundred square miles and possibly even more with a hundred being ten miles, by ten miles. It was the 5.6 Richters Earthquake that was the bulk of the damage, but I'm sure the aftershocks contribute to the total overall damage, too. They could use your prayers right now! I'm packing and heading home right now with my first stop this morning being Joplin, Missouri. So, enough said, there isn't too much more I can do in Oklahoma. While your sympathy sure helps. . . they will need a lot more help in the days, weeks, and months to come and like Habitats for Humanities or someone like that could sure help here, too! L'Aquila "Scientists" Trial Starts October 1, 2011 Could Advance EQ Prediction!!!!!

Hello,
There may now be an issue with this upcoming major earthquake that is headed for the Northern California Triple Plate Junction. Many of you might have heard that seven very bad scientists have now been charged with Manslaughter in Italy for their inaction in the Earthquake Prediction of Giampaolo Giuliani in L'Aquila Italy in 2009. They told the Mayor of that city not to do anything and that it would be much better for them to all just sit back and "Drink Expensive Wine" basically translated from Italian. Upwards of 300 people were killed in the Major Earthquake that struck that city 6 days later and the public outcry that followed resulted in those serious charges now coming to trial on October 1, 2011.

I dare say there are these days A LOT of you reading this who are by now VERY FAMILIAR with my earthquake writings and probably very familiar with the fact that I have written many a good valid and accurate prediction fairly close to the accuracy of Mr. Giuliani and my alerts go out to a few "Scientists" in various such positions as well. Today I just want to add that we presently have one such Major Earthquake heading directly for Eureka, California at 7.6 Richters Magnitude and I have submitted this to both the California and National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Councils who have received my Official Predictions in the past and are guilty of more or less the same inaction as the seven really bad scientists in the L'Aquila Italy matter. These councils are today probably guilty of ignoring one or two Great Official Predictions as well as inactions that have led to thousands of deaths around the world on a few others such as the days before the now great Japan Earthquake of 2011 in which we plainly knew the Indian Ocean Tectonic Plate was really going to be busting a move!!!

So, anywayz I am writing today to ask that we have some sort of a plan as to how we are going to eventually bring the general public up-to-date on EQ Alerts and Official Predictions, and allow them to prepare? It is my opinion that bringing charges against them and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law should get them moving. If this is the route that the renaissance of earthquake prediction is going to take. . . then it is the route that we all need to be prepared to travel. Perhaps my next move, will be to seek that sort of legal remedy here in the United States for some of our own "Bad Scientists"? Maybe Italy is correct after all and that is what it will take to get the message out to the people when there is a Major Earthquake heading for them?

New York / Washington, .D.C. Overdue for Big Shaker???

It is one of the many facts that I learned very early in my studies of earthquakes. That is that anytime you build on shaky ground or fill a big reservoir you eventually get a HUGE earthquake. Among the first stories was that there were earthquakes surrounding the filling of Lake Mead in Nevada. Therefore I knew there would eventually be a major earthquake when the filling of the new Three Gorges Dam in China would occur. That earthquake turned out to be the Sichuan China Earthquake from 2008 with 70,000 dead.

Through all of the years that construction has taken place in New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, and etc., it just occurred to me that pretty much none of those places have yet had that major earthquake that they may be overdue for. I’m talking about a minimum of around 7 Richters such as the Great Charleston Earthquake or 8 Richters such as the Sichuan Earthquake with the epicenter as Newark, Harrisburg, Fredericksburg, Silver Spring, or Providence!!! I suppose it could even be as big as 9 Richters such as Sumatra 2004, or Japan 2011.

I suppose it is possible that we just had not only the biggest earthquake of all time there, but that could now also be just the first in a series of such earthquakes or be a foreshock of what could soon be the BIG ONE!!!

Any Geology or Seismology person will tell you that New York, Washington D.C., and etc., WILL GET a Major Earthquake at some point in time. Maybe this will be the one, maybe 5.8 Richmond was a foreshock such as there was a 7 Magnitude foreshock to this years Honshu Japan Earthquake.

5.9 Richters Earthquake Virginia / Washington D.C. / Richmond!!!!!

Buildings have been evacuated and all the news channels are currently covering a very large 5.9 Richters Earthquake with the epicenter north of Richmond and south of W.D.C. just after noon today Central Time. They are saying it has been a very long time since this big of an earthquake struck that region. One nuke plant has been shut down with two reactors in Virginia. Keep watching because there could be lots more earthquake energy as Hurricane Irene continues up towards Florida and our East Coast!!!!! EQ Guy

Sumatra Aftershocks were at Nias Island = Japan Aftershocks Could Be. . . . .???

One of the major aftershocks from the Great Sumatra Earthquake struck on March 28, 2005 at 8.7 Richters hitting Nias Island and killing 1200 people. While I didn't exactly figure out the exact number of miles this location was from the epicenter of the original Sumatra Earthquake, I did figure out the following from the information that i just finished reviewing: Aftershocks of the early 2011 Japan earthquake could possibly strike at another point along the boundary between the Asian Tectonic Plate and the Pacific Tectonic Plate OR at another spot closer to the eastern boundaries of the Indian Ocean Plate or maybe even further north along that line between the Indian and Asian Plates. I just wanted to note these facts as a result of knowing now that the aftershocks of the Sumatra earthquake struck more out along the tectonic plate boundaries than just concentrating on one spot, which these aftershocks do not seem to have done at Sumatra. . . and so as a result I would expect that neither would they concentrate on the Japan region today. While there may still be some reason to worry for Japan, right at this moment as I write this update I'm thinking along the lines of Sichuan, China also being in that general region as well as parts of Russia, Indonesia, Philippines, and etc. It looks like an aftershock could strike a couple hundred miles this way or that and I will continue to look into finding all of the exact numbers and keep you updated like here at EQ Blog-2 and Thank-You for reading!!! May 21, 2011 = NOT End of World!!! No Earthquake Today, Sorry!!!

Hello, I'm posting this here on EQ Blog-2 because it is kind of dumb thinking May 21 could actually be the end of the world per se. I had been asked a few times over the last couple weeks and didn't know what all those guys were talking about till tonight when I seen the story about all the billboards, and further the dude I think specifically mentioned a major earthquake as supposedly being the cause of the end. (?????) So I am writing tonight to give just a quick update on all potential earthquake energy that is currently out there and with the hopes of letting my readers know that there WILL NOT be a life-as-we-know-it ending earthquake today or anytime soon!!! Yes, there is a small amount of earthquake energy that may still be unaccounted for, but NOT enough to fulfill this prophecy. Finally, yesterdays Turkey Earthquake struck on the second day after the Full Moon and just about basically concludes the sum total of all the earthquake energy that I had even been watching/waiting for and now aside from one tornado that stuck near Philadelphia that I have not yet gotten a report on, that seems to be it for now! OLD STORY FROM: Monday September 3, 1923, JAPAN DELUGED WITH DISASTER: TYPHOON, EARTHQUAKE, LANDSLIDE, FIRE!!!

Estimate Dead At 100,000 or More In Coast Cities!!!

The eyes of the world were taken from any smaller thing like the Greek and Italian War Sunday by the appalling disaster in Japan. The estimate of 100,000 lives lost in Yokohama and Tokio was only an estimate. Just the moment wireless communications was opened between Shanghai and Japanese points, the news came to the Gazette Sunday and the bulletin was posted. Hundreds of people in the evening saw this bulletin. Only a little was added by the morning papers. In Japan it is Tuesday, the calendar being one day ahead of us here. No water, no food, a great city still burning is the news of the day. Each story only adds to the horror of the disaster. People fled in panic to the mountains near-by. Yokohama was destroyed and the capital of Japan, 17 miles away, was wrecked. A typhoon blew down hundreds of buildings Saturday. When it subsided earthquake shocks followed one after another. Buildings were piled in heaps and fire broke out. It was a scene of horror and death. For a hundred miles along the shore, towns were piled in heaps. Nagoya, a city of 350,000 people was destroyed and other smaller towns are no more. Tidal waves and landslides wrecked other cities and sea coast villages and buried them forever. Hundreds of Americans are somewhere in the city of Yokohama, and Tokio houses several thousands of Americans resident there. It will be days in the confusion and terror before reports of the whereabouts of all Americans can be learned. Only the most meagre news is yet available owing to the conditions of wire and wireless service.

SUMMARY OF DISASTER

The situation in Japan resulting from one of the greatest disasters in history as disclosed by advices up to this morning is as follows:

Estimated that at least 100,000 persons dead. One report even gave this number for the number of Tokio’s dead.

Shocks, believed to be “Settling Shocks” of the original temblor, were recorded on American seismographs.

Great tidal waves followed the first shock.

Communications with Japan continued virtually paralyzed. Some matter coming out by cable from Southern Japanese seaports, but most of information emanating from Iwaki radio station, 155 miles north of Tokio.

Disastrous fires following earthquake believed under control.

Numerous structures of scenic or historic interest destroyed.

Fears are entertained for numerous Americans in Japan or on ships either in Yokohama harbor or near it, for nothing has been heard from any of these ships, though several were large passenger liners equipped with wireless.

British and American navel vessels have been ordered to Japan to give relief. Relief ships have been started from other Japanese ports to Yokohama. All Japanese vessels ordered to take up relief work.

Osaka and Kobe voted 300,000 Yen for relief work.

Martial law declared in Tokio and Yokohama, and no one allowed to enter the former unless he carries his own food.

Numerous volcanoes are reported in eruption.

Tokio: Eight wards of the cities fifteen virtually wiped out, including business and financial districts; much damage elsewhere, water supply failed, fire caused explosion in Governors arsenal, killed several thousand. Food and water lacking for thousands of refuges.

Yokohama: Foreign and business sections wiped out largely by fire; tens of thousands of guests, including many foreigners at resorts in mountains near by. Estimated 1,400 houses burned.

Yokosuka: Tidal wave wrecked many government vessels, much damage done in town which is of 70,000 population, fire reported broken out, naval station engulfed by tidal wave and buildings and ships destroyed.

Nagoyia: Population 620,000 reported practically destroyed.

Sasako: Six hundred reported perished in collapsed railway tunnel.

Osaka: Railroads for hundred miles north torn up, many trains wrecked with heavy casualties.

Ito: More than 500 houses washed away by tidal wave.

Kakone: At this famous mountain resort it is said to be easier to count living than dead. Foreigners frequented this district.

Karuakara: Aviator reported could not see one house upright.

Okoshima: “Picture Island” reported submerged.

Odawara: Swept by tidal wave.

Japan Just Got A Lot Of Major Aftershocks!!!

Full Moon/Super Moon Alert!!!!!

Just heard at the last minute yesterday that last nights full moon was actually a Super Moon!!! Now I have to add today that the alert for earthquake energy from the full moon continues for a few days yet, and I notice Christchurch, New Zealand had a sizable aftershock within hours of the exact time of the full moon, and Japan seems to have had significant activity as well. Everybody should be alert and well aware that the additional potential earthquake energy from a full moon and especialy a Super Moon the added energy goes on for about three days and I prefer to watch closely at least the following two nights which include tonight and tomorrow night! Expect a major earthquake and possibly something in Japan, but really watch San Andreas/Los Angeles/San Francisco a couple days yet! And Be Prepared!!!!! My Friends in Nuke Plants, and Those Who are EQ Prediction NAY SAYERS!!!!!

They are currently getting a swarm of medium sized earthquakes at The Gulf of California. These are in the 4 and 5 Richters range but more importantly there have as of Sunday morning been so many of them that I expect major movement along the plate margin between the Pacific and North American Tectonic Plates at practically any second!!! That includes the San Andreas Fault. This seems to be a major movement, it is not everyday that there are 4 and 5 Richter earthquakes out there in the middle of that Gulf!!!!! Be Prepared and know that something is probably going to be shaking soon, maybe Central America? Next thing is that I have a lot of friends who work at those Nuclear Plants and many of them will be the guys who are now forced to work on those Nukies in Japan where everything is catawampus right now. There are not enough guys who do that type of work in the world to crew up all the jobs going over there and I doubt if they have the Japanese Maintenance Electricians to fix the now up to 8 Nuke Plants about to melt down either. My phone actually rang one day to go to one, and for whatever reason I just so happened to pass on it, while at the same time knowing it didn’t quite pay enough to make up for the risks involved and there is always enough other work. We put on these suits and each guy goes into a room and turns a wrench like one or two times and then leaves to change and shower and the next guy goes in and turns it one or two more times, etc. When the job is all through they bury all those suits and all the tools that were used!!! Don’t even ask me why I have talked about wanting to be a Secuitry Guy at a Nuclear Plant??? Used to think it would be a cool job, I suppose. Next, most of you reading this right now knew there was a huge amount of earthquake energy heading for Japan and today I want to point out to all of you who don’t like some of the stuff I say about earthquakes that you are now to blame for the problems Japan and the People of Japan are going through. Those people get my blog and they needed a lot of you not to be nay saying earthquake prediction like all of you have heard people do. Japan was in trouble and you read it here in my earthquake blog over the past several days prior to the Honshu Earthquake Friday! In the future it is my hope that my earthquake alerts will not be ignored and that people will take adequate precautions and next time Japan will Be Prepared!!! But it takes not just a few of you who are my friends and read/believe my writings. . . . . it will take all of you!!!!! MAJOR EARTHQUAKE STRUCK JAPAN!!!!! 8.8 Richters With Massive Amounts Of Damage!!!!!

They were very worried about the state of several of their nuclear plants but seem to have since gotten all of that under control. Tsunami alerts are now all around the shores of the Pacific including the West Coast of the United States and etc. Many, many aftershocks are following and will probably follow for quite a while yet.

Note that this is so huge of an earthquake event that there will do doubt be huge earthquakes also following practically everywhere or anywhere in the world!!! I will update this story later on today, there is just so much going on!!!

My own personal "EQ Alert" for California is as big as ever right now and will continue as previously posted up to March 17 and i want to repeat that is 43 days after Yasi/Queensland with 340 KMH winds. 43 days was the number of days the Great Islamabad Earthquake followed the landfall of Hurricane Katrina.

I want everybody to know today that my recent EQ Alert for Kiribati, Christchurch, and Tuvalu dated February 3, 2011, ended up being the now famous Christchurch, New Zealand Earthquake at 6.3 Richters Magnitude and nearing 200 deaths. Because I know from my past experiences that folks are going to ask how I guessed Christchurch exactly right, I am writing today to explain that. It is my opinion that the earthquake energy that recently struck Christchurch originated with Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi the day Yasi made landfall at Queensland, Australia with windspeeds reported at 340 Kilometers Per Hour or I think I had also heard 160 Miles Per Hour but in all events somewhere in that range of high speed intense wind power! Generally in the past I have watched for the amount of damage at such a landfall to determine the amount of earthquake energy created, but over time I have sometimes just used the windspeed especially with winds as high as Yasi.

Next, if you look at the exact point at Australia where Yasi made landfall and follow this line the opposite direction you will cross directly over the island of Kiribati and on to Baja California passing very near a couple of other places. . . . . one being New Zealand! At that point my main focus becomes the fact that Christchurch had recently had some major earthquake energy and so as a result I automatically just write down the name Christchurch due to my policy of first wishing to alert people who might be in the path of potential earthquake energy and at that point Christchurch was very near that path!!! It should be noted that the actual energy from this Severe Tropical Cyclone is still currently heading THE OTHER DIRECTION, though, and that I usually just expect that sort of tectonic plate movement to cause some such earthquake energy to strike in the WAKE of that plate movement. Probably the most major release of earthquake energy has yet to come and could be the San Andreas Fault and California. Note that I write California because this letter is primarily going to my readers on the West Coast of the United States. Other areas such as Vancouver Island, Mexico, Central America and etc. may also be affected, but please be watching around San Francisco, and Los Angeles for a major earthquake as big, but not bigger than 8 Richters. I suppose Hawaii does have a small chance of catching some of this major earthquake energy as it crosses the Pacific Tectonic Plate and since this is basically just the type of energy that pushes that tectonic plate as opposed to energy that might travel in a straight line across it, there very well could be continued plate movement affecting Hawaii and that Kilaeua Volcano, but I do not expect a repeat of Vesuvius 79 AD by any means!!! This earthquake energy should be released in the coming 10 days, on or before March 17, 2011 and this letter is mostly meant as an update/reminder that there is still currently Major Earthquake Energy out there somewhere that is as of yet unaccounted for and could strike at any moment!!! Be Prepared!!!

Sympathy to those affected by recent earthquake at Christchurch New Zealand

It was on like the second day/night after the full moon when the sky is still very bright from the light of the waning moon that the recent major shaker struck New Zealand. I’ve mentioned in the past that huge ships should be made aware that they occasionally cross over very, very shaky fault lines and that “Weight On The Tectonic Plate” is very much an issue and consideration that should at least in the future be known since the filling of reservoirs has long been the cause of major earthquakes, big ships crossing major fault lines might need to be thought of in the future. This primarily because of one report that the Cruise Ship-Queen Elizabeth was reported to have actually been passing the Queen Mary II just off like Sydney Australia on Tuesday the same exact day as the Christchurch earthquake, weather it was the exact same time as the earthquake I do not know.

I'm writing to send my Sincere Sympathy to all those affected by the recent major shaker that struck at Christchurch New Zealand yesterday. EQ Guy

Can't forget that the actual movement of the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate will then mean all this earthquake energy could be released around the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and I suppose it is very possible that will be where all the volcanoes, tsunamis, and major earthquakes might strike or maybe Japan/Taiwan??? We're just talking basic tectonic plate movement at this location, you know.

One Or Two Tiny Windstorms Down-Under at Australia (and a couple inches of snow out east)

At work today it occured to me that i hadn't written in my EQ Blog much lately. I must point out that the reason, of course, and my long time friends and loyal readers already know this, the reason is because there just plain isn't much going on in the way of earthquake energy. So today I will write that there had been generous amounts of snow out east and just an inch here and an inch there in my midwest region, and about the only other thing that might affect plate tectonics would be one or two small windstorms down-under around Australia. As a result we may continue to go on seeing minor earthquakes strike around the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate and always the possibility of something small shaking our West Coast, but I have nothing else to say at this point besides just that usual tiny chance that those small windstorms could someday shake something loose and release earthquake energy that has been building up somewhere. That hasn't happened yet in the days I have been tracking earthquake energy and so I'm betting there won't be anything major until further notice, it's just that where earthquakes are concerned let's not say "All Clear."
